Since its inception in 1969, Madison House has maintained its status as an independent nonprofit community organization.

Although we partner closely with the University whenever we can, we depend heavily on the generous financial support of our extended family of volunteers, alumni, community members, and friends. For FY18, we drew 5.9% from our endowment/reserves. While not quite at our target of 5%, this represents a significant improvement over recent years. The Board and organizational leadership continue to invest in development efforts with the goals of improving programs, balancing our budget, and growing our endowment. As we approach our 50th anniversary in 2019, we are working to ensure Madison House’s place as an integral part of the University student experience for the next fifty years and beyond.
